“This new work reflects insights gained since having additional time to travel, read, reflect and muse. As a grandmother, I’ve shared in the wonder of a young child just beginning to explore the world around him; searching for worms beneath every rock and discovering that carrots indeed grow from the soil. I have also lived through brushes with my own mortality. Thus, each day is experienced with re-awakened vitality and awe. I am ever more aware of the interconnected web of all existence. Mysteries of the body, and of the earth, are revealed in hikes through the woods and walks along the shore.”
