“I explore life and its diversity through my art and use color to interpret my responses to people, places, and life situations. I love to portray flowers, sky, and water as life forms with their own messages. I enjoy the freedom to communicate my responses in abstract ways with watercolors. I try to consider the past as I develop new works of art. My subject matter is most often inspired by my cultural heritage and my faith. The future is built upon the past and it is never too late to turn around and start new paths to correct mistakes. Art can bring about unity in diversity and play a meaningful role in helping us to experience and achieve unity of mankind.”
